Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding (born Elena Jane Goulding, 30 December 1986 Hereford, England) is a English singer-songwriter. Ellie Goulding, a British singer-songwriter who rose to fame in 2010 after her hit songs Guns and Horses and Starry Eyed attracted the attention of the public. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding has been at the cutting edge as are Kate Bush and Imogen Sheap, of mainstream contemporary music and of independent, hip-hop that is arty. Her soprano voice as well as her knack for writing emotionally honest songs is what makes her stand out. Polydor Records offered her a deal with a major label. The singer began to work on her preparations for her release.
