Angela Sun

Angela Sun, an American journalist and television sportscaster and documentary film maker. Angela Sun is a multi-award winning journalist, sportscaster and producer. She graduated from University of California with a degree in sociology and communications. Sun was a pro at surfing. Following her participation in a handful of pro-am surfer events, she was sponsored by Roxy Reef Billabong Vans and many other large companies. Recognition of these surfing occasions was similar to a rocket that helped her get into the world of entertainment. She later became an investigative film director and journalist as well as a sportscaster. Sun has been employed by a variety of channels, primarily as an anchor. In 2003 she worked as an anchor on Fox Sports Net. She was host of American Ninja Warrior along with Matt Iseman in 2012. Sun hosts The Yahoo Sports Minute during 2014. Sun was the first Asian American to have her name featured in ESPN Fox Sports Yahoo Sports, Tennis Channel and Yahoo Sports. Sun has starred in many films and has received recognition and praise for her acting talent. She's worked in films like Goliath (2016, Hit the Floor 2014-2016), A Perfect Getaway 2009) Shackled, Street Kings 2008 and Glowsticks and Drumsticks 2004. Sun She wrote and produced film Platic Paradise The Great Pacific Garbage Patch about marine plastic pollution and the impacts on the planet in 2014, released the feature-length film.
