Meagan and Kara

Meagan Good born August 8th of 1981, was brought up in Panorama City in Los Angeles by her father Leondis Leon Good and Tyrawardlow-Doyle. Tyra worked for her as a manager during her teens. She was raised with her three brothers at home in Canyon Country in California and began her acting career when she was just four years old. In the beginning of her career, she worked as an extra on TV shows like Doogie Howser Amen or M.D. At the age of 13, she made her debut in the film, Friday. Her role as Cisely, the troubled teen on the set of Eve's Bayou (1997) garnered her interest. She was awarded two awards which included the first N.A.A.C.P. Image Award nomination. Good took on small role in television and films for the next couple of years before transitioning to more seasoned roles in the early 2000s. On Nickelodeon's Cousin Sceeter she played Nina. The show ran from 1998-2001. Also, she landed minor parts in the films House Party: Down to the final minute, as well as 3 Strikes. In 2003 she portrayed Vanessa Scott, a character in My Wife and Kids. She was nominated as Best Actress for the Black Movie Awards for 2005. In the following years she appeared in a variety of films including You Got served The Cookout Venom One miss call at Waistdeep as well as The Love Guru. She earned a Bachelor degree in Fine Arts degree in the year 2010 and was a part of the performing arts. In 2010, she began her screen career with the web-series If I Can Dream. Kara Killmer, who had appeared in a number of local productions before making her debut on screen in the year 2010, starred on Simon Fuller's Hulu series If I Can Dream. The show centers around a troupe of actors who live in the same Hollywood California house.
