Meagan Good born August 8th, 1981 was brought up within Panorama City in Los Angeles by her parents Leondis Leon Good and Tyrawardlow-Doyle. Tyra worked for her as a manager during her teenage years. The family grew up within Canyon Country with her three siblings and brothers in California. When she was the age of 4 she was able to start acting. At the beginning of her career she worked as an extra in television shows such as Doogie Howser Amen and M.D. She was 13 when she starred in her debut film, Friday. She first gained attention for her performance as teenage troubled Cisely Batiste in Eve's Bayou in 1997 for which she received two award nominations including her first N.A.A.C.P. Image Award nomination. Good took tiny roles in films and TV for a couple of years before transitioning into more mature roles around the dawn of the 2000s. She was Nina in Cousin Skeeter, a Nickelodeon T.V. show that ran from 1998 until 2001. She also had small parts in the movies House Party to the Last Minute (1998) as well as 3 Strikes (2000).
