Alison Maria Krauss, born July 23, 1971 is an American singer and musician. Her age was just teen when she began her journey into the music scene winning local competitions from the age of 10 of age and recording her first album at the age of 14 years. In 1985 she was signed by Rounder Records. Her first solo album came out in 1987. After that, she was asked to be a part of Alison Krauss Union Station, which is the group she performs together.
